I have not been this EXCITED about fall fashion in a LONG time! If I could describe it in 3 words…LIONS, TIGERS, AND BEARS!. But let’s not kid ourselves, you can;’t just use 3 words, so here are some more…VIBRANT, FUN, TEXTURE and ANYTHING GOES!
THE LOOK
Camel and white…sparkle and shine – even for daytime looks – (think sequin tops with jeans, sneakers and a furry jacket)…combining textures – satin mixed with wool…cozy, oversized and boxy sweaters – you know yours are looking tired…statement jackets…emerald green…wide waisted belts (80’s are soooo back)…snake skin everything – start with a shoe or bootie and build your outfit around them…glamorous hiking boots dressed up or down.
THE LOOK
Animal REDUX to include cheetah, zebra, snake, leopard, tiger (who am I leaving out here?)…velvet mixed with leather…rowdy mixed with feminine…combine the unexpected (think florals with animal prints – it works)… all shades of green mixed together…architectural funky heels on shoes and boots…cozy fury fuzzy sweaters…collegiate stripe detailing on just about anything and everything…metallic handbags and shoes – gold, silver and rose gold, or a mix of all three.
