NANCY LIEBERMAN’S DREAM BALL GALA

Nancy Lieberman Charities hosted the ninth annual Dream Ball Gala at the Bomb Factory. Proceeds from the event, which were over $1 million, benefit the non-profit, which is committed to promoting and developing healthy lifestyles and educational opportunities for young girls and boys. The theme of this year’s gala, “Power of Women,” honored five-time Grammy award nominee, Wynonna Judd with the Lifetime Achievement Award, as well as Dallas Mavericks CEO Cynthia “Cynt” Marshall, who received the Inspirational Award. Among the more than 30 celebrities in attendance were Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famers Spencer Haywood, Sidney Moncrief, Sheryl Swoopes, and, of course, Nancy Lieberman.

“We have raised nearly 5 million dollars since 2012 and will build our 100th Dream Court this year,” said Lieberman. “To see what we have been able to accomplish is extremely humbling. We are very excited about continuing to impact young lives.”   Photo Credit: Steven Foxall
