Holiday Cocktail Recipes

Here are some of our favorite recipes to get into the holiday spirit.

Winter Wonderland

1.5 oz vodka
.75 oz peppermint schnapps
.75 oz white chocolate liqueur
Candy cane 
Red sugar

Mix and chill ingredients. Pour into a red sugar-rimmed martini glass. Garnish with a candy cane hanging on the rim.

Holiday Mule

½ ounce simple syrup
½ ounce unsweetened cranberry juice
1 ½ ounces gin or vodka
2 ounces chilled ginger beer
1 rosemary sprig
Orange slice, for garnish
Sugared cranberries, for garnish

Combine simple syrup, cranberry juice and gin. Pour over ice and top with ginger beer. Serve garnished with rosemary, orange wedge and sugared cranberries, if desired.

Sparkling Celebration

1/4 cup sugar
1 bottle Burgundy
4 oz. brandy
2 bottles sparkling wine
1 quart sparkling water
Strawberries or raspberries

In a punch bowl, dissolve 1/4 cup sugar in the red Burgundy. Add the brandy, stir and pour in the sparkling wine and the sparkling water. Place a block of ice in the bowl, decorating the top if you wish with strawberries, raspberries or other fruit in season. 

Pear Mimosas

3/4 cup pear nectar
1 bottle champagne
Pear slices for garnish

In champagne flutes, add pear nectar and top with champagne.
Garnish with pear slice. Yields 4 cocktails.

White Christmas Margaritas

1 (14 oz.) can unsweetened coconut milk
12 oz. silver tequila
8 oz. triple sec
1/4 c. lime juice
lime wedge, for rimming glass
sanding sugar, for rimming glass
lime slices for garnish
cranberries for garnish

Combine coconut milk, tequila, triple sec, lime juice and ice in a blender. Blend until smooth. Rim glasses with lime wedge and dip in sanding sugar. Pour into glass and garnish with lime and cranberries.

Upgraded Eggnog

1 whole egg
1 oz heavy cream
.5 oz maple syrup
.25 oz St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram 
1.5 oz Paul Beau VS Cognac
Freshly grated nutmeg, to garnish

Combine all of the ingredients into a shaker. Shake without ice first, then add ice and shake again to chill and dilute the eggnog slightly (by about 1 ounce). Strain into a chilled glass and garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.

Peppermint Espresso Martini

Courtesy of sip Torne, a canned espresso martini that boasts a bold combination of premium espresso and vodka, accentuated with a subtle touch of vanilla. 

1 can of sip Torne espresso martini 
1 oz. peppermint schnapps 
melting chocolate for rimming glass
Peppermint pieces for rimming glass

Combine sip Torne and schnapps into martini shaker filled with ice. Rim glasses with chocolate and peppermint pieces. Shake well and pour into glass.
