What do you do for date night?

Good Life Family asked local couples about their favorite date night spots! Here’s what they had to say…
Date-Night-Michelle-Parks“We Love going to the Gexa for good music!  We start out at Amberjax in Trinity Groves for some yummy seafood, then Blake Shelton!  Perfect Night! Or we love going to Ninfa’s in Waco before a Baylor Football game!”

– Elle & Michael Parks

Date-Night---Kymberley“Tony and I love concerts, movies and the theatre. Anytime a good show comes to town we are there!  The last show we went to was one of those great “going down memory lane” shows for two bands that I used to listen to in my early 20’s- Train and The Fray.  We love college football, too. I am a Michigan fan and Tony is an Ohio State alum so that makes for some interesting conversations. We recently attended the Ohio State National Championship game at the Cowboys Stadium… what a night!

– Kymberley & Tony Scalia

Date-Night-Lisa-Raskin-(1)“Those impromptu nights when we open a favorite bottle of wine, fire up the grill and relax by the outdoor fireplace…. Heaven!”

– Lisa & Mark Raskin

“If you are looking for a casual date night and Mexican cuisine is what you’re craving, Frankie’s in Richardson has just that. Great food and phenomenal service.  We enjoy the patio dining and the fact that it’s tucked away in the quaint II Creeks Plaza of Canyon Creek. Makes us feel like we’re miles away. After dinner we take a couple of steps next door to get the best ice cream ever from Sweet Firefly and then a few more steps to the small adorable romantic lit park in the middle of the plaza to enjoy the evening stars and after dinner conversation.  Oh, and on Friday and Saturday night you may hear great tunes from the live bands playing at Marcus Café!”

– Michelle & Michael Williams

Date-Night-Mary-Danz“Norm and I like to have our special date night by trying a new place for dinner and enjoying a glass of wine or two!  We celebrate our time with wonderful food and conversation!”

– Mary Danz & Norm Hitzges

“We head to Taco Diner. The Mambo Taxis are amazing, and then we head over to the Magnolia Theater. We also like The Blue Fish for sushi, and the happy hour menu is great. We also like Studio Movie Grill.

Editors Note:  SMG just opened its newest location in The Colony, and it is spectacular.  We can’t wait for the Plano location to re-open in October with an all-new look.

– Sonia & Michael Tinglin

The Foundry and Chicken Scratch is the place to be. It’s a great, fun night!”

– Stacy and Bobby Horowitz

Date-Night-Dawn-MellonOne of our favorite ‘date night’ spots is Dee Lincoln’s in Plano. The food is exceptional, the service is great, and we love supporting a local business and a local family.”

– Dawn and Jon Mellon
