The Artists’ Showplace

The Artists’ Showplace is the most creative place in town to escape the heat.  They offer a myriad of classes for kids and adults, in addition to being a stellar art gallery featuring both local and world-renowned artists. “We stand out from the other art camps offered around town because our classes take place in a fine art gallery setting,” says San Cheang, Director of Art Education.

Eisemann Center

If you are looking for a unique date night or ladies night out, look no further than the Eisemann Center in Richardson.  The recently announced 2017-2018 season includes the national tour of “Menopause The Musical,” and “Chita and Tune,” featuring Tommy Tune and Chita Rivera this summer.

The Eisemann Center’s Prelude Café is open for casual pre-show dining for all on Friday and Saturday evenings. Reservations are strongly encouraged.  Call 972.367.2000.

Altitude Trampoline Park

Think trampoline parks are just for little kids?  Think again! With activities like ultimate dodgeball, basketball and even fitness classes, Altitude is a great family fun adventure. The Richardson location offers a plethora of unique trampoline games like Battle Beam, gymnastic tumble tracks and even a trapeze swing.

Check out “Sunday Funday,” which offers 3 hours of jumping fun for just $17.95 per person, noon to 8 pm, or “Friday Night Friendzy” from 7 pm to 10 pm for $17.25 (including pizza), and jump on in for “Teen Night” every Saturday from 8 pm to 11 pm.  Altitude also offers fitness classes (1 for $9.95 or 12 for $69.95).

Lone Star Park

Gather a group of friends and race on over to Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie for a day of thoroughbred fun through July 30th.  (Quarter Horse Season begins September 15.)
