Award-Winning Professional Theatre Opens 2025 Season with Sondheim Musical March 14 – 23 at Willow Bend Center of the Arts in Plano, TX

NTPA Repertory Theatre announces the cast and production team for INTO THE WOODS March 14-23, 2025 at Willow Bend Center of the Arts.
The award-winning North Texas Performing Arts Repertory Theatre presents the Tony-Award winning show, INTO THE WOODS. Winner of four 2024 Broadway World Dallas awards, this all-adult cast of DFW stage veterans and alumni bring this modern classic tale of everyone’s favorite storybook characters together for a timeless, yet relevant, piece. The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch’s curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone’s wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later.
The production team is helmed by Director Nick Mann who is excited to bring Stephen Sondheim to the stage. “We all grew up with fairy tales, and we continue to search for that ‘happily ever after’ ending in our own lives,” says Mann. “INTO THE WOODS explores what happens next!” The production team includes Stage Manager Grace Raber, Music Director Rachel Moes and Choreographer Kiba Walker.

The runtime is 3 hours and the show is recommended for ages 10+. Tickets range from $20-32. The show runs for two weekends with evening performances at 7:30 pm and matinees at 2:30 pm.
