Co-Owners Jean-Philippe Bernard, Michael Martin and Paul Breuza have proudly announced the opening of their restaurant & lounge, Villa Azur. Located at the W Hotel in Victory Park, Villa Azur will bring a refreshing concept to Dallas with influences from the South of France combining excellent cuisine and an extensive wine list with the glamour and allure found in the French Riviera. In addition to the 3,500 square foot restaurant to bring a taste of the Dallas art scene to the space, a rotating contemporary art collection will feature works from Markowitz Fine Art Gallery for opening weekend, with more gallery features to come.
Under the direction of Executive Chef Carlos Torres, Villa Azur will bring a taste of the South of France to Dallas pairing seasonal ingredients and international flavors with stunning presentation. Guests will embrace a true Mediterranean dining experience and indulge in specialty dishes such as Truffle Burrata, Seared Octopus, Pâtes à la Meule – served tableside in a Parmigiana Wheel and Cognac Flamed-, Dover Sole Meunière – prepared tableside –, Whole Roasted Chicken, Classic Tiramisu and, much more.

Villa Azur will combine superior service and quality with the vibe and energy of a neighborhood hotspot. The unique interior setting is designed to remind guests of the gorgeous upscale dining experiences found in ristorantes along the French Riviera while simultaneously incorporating the effervescence of Dallas’ vibrant lifestyle.
Located in Uptown, at the W Hotel, Villa Azur Dallas will be open for dinner service all nights of the week, social hours beforehand, and breakfast and lunch offerings in the lobby of the W Hotel.
Villa Azur Dallas will bring the Miami extravagance with late night entertainment, glamorous greeters, live DJ’s and fancy handcrafted cocktails giving guests the energy and after-dinner vibe.
Dinner parties will bring the vibrant and glamorous French Riviera vibe to Dallas. Villa Azur will be inside of the former Cook Hall space by the entrance of the W Hotel. The romantic decor – designed by leading interior designer Jose Jafif – will feature an elegant yet cozy mixture of neoclassical and modern trends, with eclectic details, seeking to evoke a refreshing classic French Riviera style. The indoor restaurant space will offer 150 seats. The Bar and lounge area will include 20 seating capacity.

Jean Philippe Bernard brings over 25 years of experience in the operations of hospitality industry while Paul Breuza develops concepts around the world and Michael Martin, a staple in the Miami nightlife scene (Opium Group, The Mondrian Hotel, LIV, Wall at the W Hotel), brings his expertise and knowledge of the nightlife industry.
