b'Good Times for a Good Cause goodTIMESNATIONAL PHILANTHROPY DAY LUNCHEON The 34th Annual National Philanthropy Day Luncheon hosted by the Greater Dallas Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals recognized six award recipients at the Stars of Texas themed luncheon. Award winners were: Cindy Scott, CFRE (Outstanding Fundraising Executive), Michal Powell (Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser), Texas Capital Bank (Outstanding Corpo-ration), Harry S. Moss Trust (Outstanding Foundation Award), Donna Wilhelm (Outstanding Philanthropist), and Ashlyn Duy (Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy). When asked what was it that inspired him to give back, Duy said, I was one of the lucky ones, who healed quickly [after emergency surgery]. Shonn Brown, co-chair and founding officer, said, We are honoring the legacy of our mothers, grandmothers, and all of those women who came before us by using our resources to benefit our communities that they worked so hard to sustain.
