Proceeds from the event, which were over $1 million, benefit the non-profit, which is committed to promoting and developing healthy lifestyles and educational opportunities for young girls and boys. The theme of this years gala, Power of Women, honored five-time Grammy award nominee, Wynonna Judd with the Lifetime Achievement Award, as well as Dallas Mavericks CEO Cynthia Cynt Marshall, who received the Inspirational Award. Among the more than 30 celebrities in attendance were Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famers Spencer Haywood, Sidney Moncrief, Sheryl Swoopes, and, of course, Nancy Lieberman. We have raised nearly 5 million dollars since 2012 and will build our 100th Dream Court this year, said Lieberman. To see what we have been able to accomplish is extremely humbling.
