This was evident as BGCA hosted the an- nual Pacific Military Youth of the Year event. The annual event highlights military youth as they compete for the regional scholarship award of $40,000.  The stories told of their resiliency, chal- lenges overcome, accomplishments achieved, and aspirations for the future are the best illustration of the true im- pact of Boys & Girls Clubs on their lives. On U.S. military installations across the country and around the globe, Boys & Girls Clubs of America-affiliated Youth Centers are changing and saving lives.  Rear AdmiralYancy B.
