Lucinda Buford, PCHPS president, welcomed the crowd and after luncheon, emcee Scott Murray recognized honorary chairs Gail and R. GeraldTurner. Mrs. Bush shared stories about being named after her maternal grandmother Jenna Hawkins Welch and choosing names for her children, keeping it all in the family. She spoke strongly about helping support more appreciation for teachers, as a former teacher herself. PCHPS mission is to preserve and promote the history, architecture, aesthetics and cultural traditions of the Park Cities.
