Ruby Care was founded from personal experience — not simply business opportunity.
My journey began when my mother and stepfather were both diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and dementia and needed to move closer to family. My sister lovingly cared for them in her home for as long as she could, but eventually the time came when they needed more support than one person could provide. Like so many families, we struggled to find resources that fit both their needs and budget. I remember feeling frustrated, helpless, and heartbroken watching how difficult the process was.
Only a year later, I found myself helping my mother-in-law move from her home in East Texas after the death of her husband. Once again, I experienced firsthand the emotional stress and uncertainty families face when navigating senior living options.
Those experiences changed my life.
They inspired me to learn everything I could about senior living, dementia care, aging services, and family support so I could become a resource for other families facing similar situations.
In 2016, Ruby Care Senior Living Advisors was born.
Today, Ruby Care proudly serves seniors and families throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area with a boutique-style, hands-on approach that is very different from large online referral companies. We are not a call center. We are not simply matching names to a database. We are a local team of compassionate professionals who genuinely care about the people we serve.
Our team consists of eight experienced advisors, many of whom are Certified Senior Advisors and Certified Dementia Practitioners. Others have backgrounds in hospice, home health, rehabilitation, and senior living communities. Most importantly, every member of our team has personally walked this journey with their own family members.
Collectively, our team brings more than 150 years of senior living experience.
This is not just a business to us. It is personal.
