Celebrity Chef Lineup Announced for the 2022 State Fair of Texas

The State Fair of Texas is thrilled to announce the lineup for the 2022 Celebrity Chef Kitchen sponsored by Cutco. The demonstrations feature a collection of the most talented chefs across the country–from cowboy chefs to barbecue bosses and everything in between. This ongoing FREE series is perfect for all the foodies who want to get a taste of Texas! This is a true melting pot of culinary artists, including Michelin Star restauranteurs, celebrity chefs, and cookbook kings and queens. These gifted chefs will also give kitchen tips, answer questions, and share samples with the audience, all while preparing their favorite dishes. Join us at the Creative Arts Building to view demonstrations from nearly 100 local, regional, and national kitchen masters. Fairgoers can treat their taste buds and enjoy these free demonstrations all 24 days of the Fair.

The Celebrity Chef Kitchen has acquired talent that has been featured on national programs, including MasterChef and Chopped. Some chefs have even been featured as celebrity judges in our very own Big Tex Choice Awards.

See below for the full schedule of chefs performing at the Celebrity Chef Kitchen in the Creative Arts building. The 2022 State Fair of Texas opens on Friday, September 30, and will run through Sunday, October 23, 2022. Head to BigTex.com for more information.

For all the foodies out there, the Celebrity Chef Kitchen is the perfect opportunity to connect with dynamic and diverse Lone Star chefs. In addition to these culinary creations, fairgoers can also pre-register and enter in our amateur cooking contests, such as the Cake Contest and Youth Cooking Contest, at BigTex.com/CreativeArts. We hope you’re hungry for knowledge (and food!) because the Celebrity Chef Kitchen begins in just 11 days, starting Opening Day, Friday, September 30 running through Sunday, October 23, 2022.
