Elevated Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) chicken sandwich restaurant, Birdcall, is making its mark in DFW with a second location that opened in Frisco on July 10 at 5350 Preston Road in Preston Lebanon Crossing.
The Colorado-based brand has experienced rapid growth since its establishment in 2016, with a total of 10 locations in Colorado, Arizona, and its newest conquest, Texas. Following the successful launch of its first Texas restaurant in Carrollton earlier this year, Birdcall is excited to bring its modern approach to QSR dining, delicious all-natural chicken, and inviting atmosphere to Frisco.
North Texans are in luck as Birdcall has plans to open two more locations in Richardson and Dallas later this year, with additional sites to follow in 2024.
“We are honored to bring Birdcall’s natural chicken sandwiches to the vibrant city of Frisco,” said Mark Lohmann, CEO of Birdcall. “Opening our second location in Texas is a testament to the incredible support we have received from our guests and the DFW community, and we are excited to continue expanding our footprint. Frisco residents can look forward to experiencing the same superior hospitality and exceptional quality that have made Birdcall a go-to for chicken enthusiasts since our inception in 2016.”
More Than a Chicken Sandwich
Birdcall is more than just your typical chicken sandwich eatery. Renowned for its all-natural, made-to-order chicken sandwiches, Birdcall offers an innovative and proprietary restaurant solution.
Texans have already fallen in love with the menu’s selection of award-winning chicken sandwiches, served on fresh locally baked artisan buns from Signature Baking Company. But that’s not all – Birdcall also serves up crispy chicken tenders, flavor-packed salads, tater tots, house-made sauces, gluten-free and dairy-free chicken nuggets, hand-spun milkshakes (with the option to make them boozy), and much more.
Birdcall understands the importance of catering to all diners, including younger guests. The menu features kids meals, offering either crispy chicken tenders or gluten-free and dairy-free chicken nuggets paired with delectable sides like french fries, tater tots, or fresh fruit. Each meal is complemented with a small beverage and a fun swag item.
Included in the elevated dining experience is Birdcall’s bar program, which offers an array of house-made cocktails on tap, such as a spicy cucumber margarita, a frozen house margarita, and a selection of draft beers, including local brewery’s Manhattan Project Beer Co.’s Manhattan IPA, a Dallas favorite.
Revolutionizing QSR Dining
This elevated QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) establishment embraces a fresh approach to dining, powered by proprietary technology-driven kiosks that empower guests to take control of the ordering process. Guests can track the progress of their meal on digital displays throughout the dining area and conveniently collect their orders from 11 meal cubbies. Birdcall’s technology streamlines the guest experience, embodying the evolution of QSR dining.
The restaurant’s design complements its technological advancements. Contemporary aesthetics, comfortable seating, and a spacious pet-friendly patio create an inviting atmosphere. Guests can choose to dine at the bar, take advantage of the drive-thru lane, and even indulge in free-to-play arcade games like NBA Jam and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Frisco location will also showcase vibrant interior decor and exterior mural artwork inspired by the local landscape, painted by the talented duo, Jaime and Pedro of The Worst Crew.
Options for All Dietary Needs
Birdcall caters to gluten-free diners with a wide range of options. Their crispy chicken sandwiches can be customized with grilled chicken and a gluten-free bun or lettuce wrap. Many of their salads are already gluten-free or can be easily modified to meet gluten-free requirements. For those following a plant-based diet, Birdcall’s Meati sandwich is a great option as it is made from mushroom root protein.
“Frisco residents can look forward to experiencing the same superior hospitality and exceptional quality that have made Birdcall a go-to for chicken enthusiasts since our inception in 2016.”
Mark Lohmann, CEO of Birdcall
Serving the Frisco Community
Birdcall is committed to providing exceptional hospitality and outstanding customer service that extends beyond the restaurant doors. In Frisco, Birdcall has already begun making an impact within the community by donating meals to the Frisco RoughRiders staff and to student athletes at the Frisco Classic, an annual baseball tournament. These efforts are a part of Birdcall’s 1% initiative, in which Birdcall pledges to reinvest 1% of sales into the local communities they serve through school fundraisers, food donations, sponsorships, charitable events, and more. Building connections with the communities surrounding each Birdcall location is a core mission for the brand. Birdcall Frisco will open for lunch and dinner, 7 days a week from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
