Allen Philharmonic Presents Songs of the Sea

The Allen Philharmonic Orchestra & Symphony Chorus presents a musical voyage through the sea with its next concert — Songs of the Sea.

On Friday, Feb. 24, at 7:30 p.m., the Allen Symphony Chorus will perform at the Allen Public Library, located at 300 N. Allen Dr. Perfect for all ages, this family-friendly night will feature selections from South Pacific that include Bali HaiA Wonderful Guy, and the perennial favorite Some Enchanted Evening. Plus, a medley from The Little Mermaid that includes Under the SeaKiss the Girl and Part of Your World. There may even be a sea chanty or two!

“This is the Allen Symphony Chorus’s opportunity to present a casual classic performance and people of all ages will enjoy it,” said Allen Philharmonic President Kathy Litinas. “Songs of the Sea is perfect for adults and children alike. Accompanied by a piano, guitar, bass, and drums, this performance will generate nostalgia, happiness, and an iconic musical library.”
