Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm is teaming up with local animal rescue organizations to host “Peace, Love & Paws” adoption event on Saturday, April 17 from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. on Village Green Drive.
The event will feature multiple animal rescue groups with pets available for adoption including: Animal Rescue Crusaders of Texas, Oak Hill Animal Rescue, Inc., Rescue Row Inc., Legacy Humane Society and Cody’s Friends Rescue.
There will be animal-related vendors selling various items for cats, dogs, and the people who love them. Among the vendors are EarthWise Pet Supplies, Kelly Kat Jewelry, Gavin Buchanan Memorial Foundation, The Pittie Bistro and more.
To keep things fun and exciting throughout the day, DJ Ryan “The Caveman” Cave will be playing lively music. Plus, you might get to satisfy your cookie craving by local Girl Scouts who will be present at the event.
“We are excited to host Peace, Love & Paws at Watters Creek this month, and we hope to see all of these rescued animals find forever homes, as so many are people are looking for a furry companion,”said Debra Martinez, marketing director for Watters Creek at Montgomery Farms. “We thank Animal Rescue Crusaders of Texas for coordinating this spring event and look forward to seeing these pets get adopted.”
