New Friends New Life Announces Bianca Jackson As Chief Development Officer

Jackson’s addition completes the newly-structured executive team as the agency celebrates its 20th anniversary

New Friends New Life announces that Bianca Jackson has joined the executive team as chief development officer, responsible for overseeing donor cultivation, budget growth and strategic communication plans for the organization. Jackson joins Kim Robinson, who was appointed as chief executive officer in March, and Jessica Brazeal, MA, LPC-S, who was recently promoted to chief programs officer, to complete the executive team that will be charged with leading New Friends New Life into a new era of growth in the fight against sex trafficking and exploitation.

For the past seven years, Jackson served as senior director of fund and community development at Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support. She brings a wealth of experience to New Friends New Life including producing large-scale fundraising events, developing communications and messaging, stewarding volunteer and auxiliary membership and grant writing.

Prior to working at Genesis Women’s Shelter, Jackson was the strategic communications manager for Medical City Dallas Hospital, where she spent nine years leading media efforts and internal fundraising as well as messaging campaigns and shaping the corporate culture.

“I am excited to join the passionate team at New Friends New Life in sounding the alarm about sex trafficking – an evil, multi-billion dollar industry that is festering right here in our own backyard,” said Bianca Jackson.  “The Dallas community is paying special attention to the sobering fact that 400 girls are being sold on our streets every single night.  I look forward to educating and inspiring individuals, organizations, and companies to stand on behalf of our girls, our women and their children by supporting New Friends New Life’s mission.”

Jackson holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Temple University and is a 2015 graduate of Dallas Baptist University, where she obtained a master’s degree in organizational communication. In 2016 she was honored with the 10 Shades of Success award in recognition of her leadership in the Dallas community.

“We are delighted to have Bianca on board just in time to focus on our milestone fundraising luncheon in November,” said Kim Robinson, CEO, New Friends New Life. “A proven leader with a big heart and a strong work ethic, Bianca is the perfect match for our mission to restore and empower women and children who have been victimized and exploited by this form of modern slavery. We are proud of the lives we’ve changed over the past 20 years, and we are excited about the road we are paving for New Friends New Life in the months and years to come.”
