C. C. Young, a premier, non-profit senior living community, is excited to announce the call for all artists and writers for the 2018 Spirit is Ageless Art & Writing Contest. Residents of C. C. Young and the general public, age 55 and better, are encouraged to enter. Entries will be accepted in-person on Tuesday, March 27 and Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at The Point at C. C. Young.

The Spirit is Ageless Art & Writing Contest at C. C. Young has been a very exciting event for the Dallas-Fort Worth community to enjoy dating back to its inception in 1999. The annual contest, art gallery show and celebration of artists and writers unites the community to highlight submissions from 19 categories in an effort to showcase each person’s ageless artistry, the capability to thrive, and ambition to share their creativity with the public.

“C. C. Young is dedicated to serving our residents and community at large so that each individual can grow    in body, mind and spirit, no matter their life’s circumstance or limitations,” said Brian Parman, Director of The Point & Pavilion at C. C. Young. “This contest inspires and celebrates each individual’s creativity.”

The Spirit is Ageless Awards & Celebration Event will be held at The Point at C. C. Young on Saturday, April 21, 2018, and is open to all participants and the general public. This year’s featured speaker will be JD Miller, Reflectionist artist and co-founder of Samuel Lynne Galleries. Please RSVP today to rsvp@ccyoung.org or 214-841-2831.
