by Tricia White | Managing Editor

Temperatures soar, kids populate your sofa, mass quantities of consumables magically disappear, and everyone is looking to you for a steady stream of funds and entertainment options. We’ve assembled a delightful plate full of ideas to help keep everyone active and sane during the next few months. Maybe this will be the summer you don’t want to ever end!

Check out the New OKLAHOMA

The most difficult thing to do in Oklahoma City is decide what you simply don’t have time for. The city’s reputation is growing as a vacation destination, and that is largely due to the wide variety of activities, low costs and ease of access to amenities. If hip and cool aren’t your first thoughts of Oklahoma City, let us change your mind. With more than $5 billion of public and private investment in quality-of-life projects and improvements in the past two decades, Oklahoma City is continually making headlines like  “Best Trips 2015”  by National Geographic and “14 places in America you have to visit in 2016” by USA Today.

A must-stop in OKC, RIVERSPORT Adventure Parks in the Boathouse District offer exciting outdoor adventures for all ages. You’ll find Adventure courses, a zip line, a pump track, flatwater kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, youth adventures and the all-new $45 million whitewater rafting and kayaking center – the only urban whitewater rafting facility in the world.

Take the short drive to OKC, be amazed by all that it has to offer—because this is the new OKC.
