The Family Place Announces Partners Card 2016 Co-Chairs

The Annual Shopping Event Will Be Held October 28 – November 6, 2016

The Family Place is excited to announce that Elizabeth Dacus, Jane Rozelle and Samantha Wortley will serve as co-chairs of its annual shopping fundraiser, Partners Card 2016, presented by Bank of Texas. Now celebrating its 24th year, Partners Card is a unique way for the Dallas community to come together and give back in a fun and exciting way. With the purchase of a $70 Partners Card, cardholders are invited to shop, dine and save with a 20 percent discount at more than 750 participating retailers and restaurants throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. All of the proceeds from the card sales will be returned to The Family Place, Dallas’ largest family violence agency. This year’s 10-day shopping extravaganza will take place Friday, October 28 through Sunday, November 6, 2016. Cards will go on sale September 1, 2016.

Elizabeth Dacus is the director of finance for The Arts Community Alliance (TACA). She has worked in accounting and finance for the last 12 years. She began her involvement with Partners Card in 2014 as a Retail Sales Liaison and is excited to be even more involved with Partners Card this year. Elizabeth is also involved throughout the community serving with Junior League of Dallas, Community Partners of Dallas, New Friends New Life, Bryan’s House and Highland Park United Methodist Church.

Originally from Dallas, Jane Rozelle attended The Episcopal School of Dallas and went on to get a degree in film from the University of Kansas. She spent several years after college in Los Angeles, working in media and film acquisitions before making her way back to Texas where she took her current post as PaperCity Magazine’s Social Editor. An active member of The Junior League of Dallas, The Wilkinson Center Young Friends, the Dallas Contemporary’s Board of Young Professionals, and The Young Professionals Group for Earth Day Texas, she also serves on committees for Community Partners of Dallas, Girl Scouts of America, and The Family Place. She is a lover of the arts, film and fashion.

Samantha Wortley is an active member of the Dallas community and helps contribute to various non-profits each year. After a career in the Neiman Marcus buying office, she is now a devoted mother to her daughter and spends her time on her philanthropic passions. Her involvement has ranged from co-chairing events, the auction and membership for the Cattle Baron’s Ball, Young Friends of the Ronald McDonald House auction chair and board member, Heroes & Handbags auction chair, member of the Junior League of Dallas Fund Development Team, The Women’s Auxiliary to Children’s Board Member, as well as volunteering for Community Partners of Dallas, The Family Place, Ronald McDonald House and serving on committees for various philanthropic luncheons. “The Family Place is honored that Elizabeth, Jane and Samantha are serving as Co-chairs for Partners Card 2016,” said Paige Flink, chief executive officer of The Family Place. “The generosity, time and effort put towards this fundraiser helps ensure that women, men and children in Dallas will have a safe place to retreat in a time of need.”
