Remember and Learn at the Dallas Holocaust Museum

The Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance is dedicated to preserving the memory of the Holocaust, and to teaching the moral and ethical response to prejudice, hatred and indifference for the benefit of all humanity. Located in Dallas’ Historic West End, the Museum hosts more than 65,500 visitors annually, among them 31,000 school children. The Museum has been recognized for its compelling and creative programming, internationally recognized exhibits, and world-class speakers. North Texas is home to about 125 survivors, refugees and hidden children from the Holocaust.

NOW ON EXHIBIT: THE WAR TIME ESCAPE

The War Time Escape of Margret and H. A. Rey’s Journey from France is currently on exhibit. Margret and H. A Rey are the husband-wife team that created the Curious George series of children’s books. Their escape from Nazi occupied France was a harrowing one filled with near misses and suspenseful twists. All along they carried the manuscript for the mischievous monkey we all came to know as Curious George.

GROUP TOURS & SCHOOL TOURS

Survivor speakers can be requested for groups of more than 30 people and in grade 7 or above.
