I’m a new woman.” Then she rethinks that statement, “I’m still the same person – I’m just a little stronger now because I have a little angel on my shoulder carrying me through.” Christina had one tattoo. It said, “Dream as if you’ll live forever and live as if you’ll die today.” That quote is now on her headstone at the gravesite Jonni is so grateful to be able to visit. She believes Christina lived her life with that passion, and now Jonni is working to honor her memory by doing the same, even though she misses her every day. During our interview, she shared how Christina had taught her to believe in herself and would often tell her, “I’m so proud of you, Mom.” There’s little doubt she’d be even more proud today.
