Visionary Women Luncheon
Juliette Fowler Communities held its 4th Annual Visionary Women Luncheon on May 3 at the Omni Dallas Hotel. The luncheon, which raised $240,000 for Fowler Communities’ Annual Fund, was created to honor those who exemplify the spirit of the organization’s founder and Dallas pioneer, Juliette Peak Fowler.
Virginia Chandler Dykes was honored as the 2016 Visionary Woman. Mrs. Dykes is known nationally for her work in rehabilitation, adult and adolescent psychiatry, eating disorders, hand splinting and acute physical disabilities as well as her ongoing commitment to provide scholarship assistance to occupational therapy students.
The luncheon also honored TCU Senior Hannah Canterbury, a social work major, with the Juliette Fowler Faith and Service Award.
