SWJC CELEBRATES 13 YEARS OF HONORING COMMUNITY HEROES

Featured Speaker Chef Stephan Pyles

On September 22, 2022, the Southwest Jewish Congress (SWJC) celebrated its 13-year anniversary by recognizing exceptional women, men and young adults at its Texas Sized Event.  

The evening began with featured speaker Chef Stephan Pyles followed by a buffet dinner and awards program. Co-emcees for the evening were Sylvia Komatsu, KERA/KXT and Chris Lawrence, WFAA-TV.

In 2016, SWJC introduced the 50/50 Donation Program to help build bridges throughout the community. Honorees are asked to designate a local charity of their choice to receive donations raised on the night of the event. Since the start of this program, over $15,000 has been shared with numerous local non-profits.
